為理想奮鬥的精神 —— 評《牽阮的手》
首先，敝人以為這部紀錄片是今年的臺灣電影最值得觀賞的一部。同樣在描述一段歷史，大作《賽德克．巴萊》能給予觀眾不輸好萊塢院線片的刺激感，也讓原住民族的歷史得到更多認識，造成一股前所未有的風潮，這是毋庸置疑的。但是，敝人以為描述歷史的電影使用過浮誇的手法只會模糊重點及令人反胃而已。 而這部由《無米樂》導演莊益增和顏蘭權同樣耗費數年所製作的紀錄片《牽阮的手》完全沒有任何特殊手法，只是如實紀錄田孟淑與田朝明醫師不顧年齡、同姓障礙及外界壓力相愛，並帶領臺灣社會走向民主歷程的過程，看似很平常。但只要是體驗過社會改變的觀眾，紀錄的深度立刻體現出來。直接而言，這部片有體現它敘事的「根」。這個根就是本土的民主、民權運動經驗，而現今的人權運動也會對這部紀錄片的內容產生共鳴。這種感覺需要親身去看過，體驗過才能理解，以文字的轉述是無法體現出孟淑對朝明的感情是多麼複雜、深厚。
